In 2022, Liz joined the team at Grey County, stepping into the role of Senior Policy Planner.

After 16 years working as a Planner in Ontario, Liz continues to find herself inspired daily by the strong civic values that underpin the profession and by the rich community & professional relationships she has cultivated within the Southern Georgian Bay region and beyond. Liz believes that Planners are at a nexus of local government and community change: integrating multi-disciplinary inputs across departments & organizations; working to define and serve the public interest; and crafting great policy and strong, well-informed recommendations to local decision-makers.
